I truly believe that you are very inspiring to many people that watches you dance. I think you just really wanted to show what you love to do and in a very playful but in a stong dancer way.I also believe that it was your mission to make your own types of dance. I think everyone will agree with me that you truly did that, ecspecially in your "stair dance!"
I think it is really great that one of the things you are famous for is your smile! Everyone loves a smile and it shows people that you love what you do! I really like the drum dance that you performed as part of the movie "Stormy Weather". It is so inspiring that you re-choreographed a dance that was originally a flat-footed dance into a dance on your toes! You put a good name to both tap dancing and black dancers. Great job!
Intéressant! Spirituel! Bien documenté! In case you haven't spoken French in the recent years, I'm saying Mr.Bojangles is that you, indeed, are one interesting character whom I now have a ton of admiration for. Your work is pulchritudinous and knocked my breath away! I never would have imagined a kid could drop out of school at age five and become such an icon in the complex world of dance! Not only that but I loved how you were so determined and set-out to be a dancer at such a young age. Passion, doesn't even begin to describe your love for your art. And that is, inspiring. From street dancing to earn a mealy fifty cents to serving in France's Fourth Army to dancing in-front of the king of England, your story is one that billions dream of, but very, very little accomplish. Words can't describe what an icon you have become to me since reading your interview and watching your performances. Believe me when I say that I am one -very- privileged women to have been able to be introduced to such a man. Thank you for sharing your talents with the world, Mr.Bojangles. I sincerely hope we can meet in the future.
